COPPER

Electrical • Thermal • Corrosion-Resistant

Copper’s excellent electrical and thermal conductivity—combined with natural corrosion resistance—makes it essential across industries. It powers electrical wiring, electronics, and renewable-energy systems, while remaining critical in construction, automotive, marine, and aerospace.

TYPES OF COPPER

Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP)

High-conductivity copper

The most common electrical grade for wiring and cables due to excellent conductivity and workability.

Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC)

Very low oxygen content

Superior conductivity and reliability; used in high-tech applications such as semiconductors and audio equipment.

Deoxidized High-Phosphorus (DHP)

Corrosion-resistant plumbing grade

Excellent corrosion resistance and formability; widely used in plumbing and heating systems.

Beryllium Copper

High strength & hardness

Copper alloy with beryllium—strong, wear-resistant, and conductive; used in springs, connectors, and tooling.

Copper Alloys (Brass/Bronze)

Zn or Sn alloyed

Brass (Cu-Zn) and bronze (Cu-Sn) for marine, architectural, and decorative applications requiring strength and formability.

USES OF COPPER

Electrical & Electronics

Wires, busbars, motors, transformers, PCB traces, connectors, and power distribution.

Construction

Plumbing tubes, roofing, cladding, façade elements, lightning protection, and HVAC components.

Automotive & Aerospace

Harnesses, EV motors/inverters, heat exchangers, bearings, and precision components.

Renewable Energy

Solar and wind power systems, inverters, battery connections, and grid integration hardware.

Thermal & Process Equipment

Heat sinks, exchangers, desalination tubes, and corrosion-resistant process lines.

GRADES OF COPPER

Grade A

High-purity copper (~99.9%) for demanding electrical applications requiring top conductivity.

Grade B

Lower purity than Grade A; used for general electrical and industrial needs.

Oxygen-Free High Conductivity (OFHC)

Near-zero oxygen content; superior electrical/thermal performance for high-tech electronics.

Deoxidized (DHP)

Phosphorus-deoxidized; improved corrosion resistance and formability for plumbing/HVAC.

Alloyed Copper (Brass/Bronze)

Cu-Zn or Cu-Sn systems for strength, machinability, and decorative or marine applications.
